Bringing in the catch. The “Barrowby” returning to the factory ship.
As far as I have been able to gather, “Barrowby” was built in 1912. According to J.S. Hodgson’s whaling memoirs, at the time of this photograph, this was Edvard Skontorp’s boat. Edvard was a legend among whaling gunners.
Any information on the vessel is most welcome.
