A/S Rosshavets Hvb “Star III”. Bygget outpost boat (patruljebåt) after hvalbåtdesign at Nyland Workshop, Oslo (362). Originally commissioned by Whaler-A / S Ross Sea (Rasmussen, Konow, Moe), Sandefjord. Building Contract requisitioned by the German occupation-power (Admiral Norway) as VARANGER (V.5905).

A/S Rosshavets hvalbåt “Karrakatta” at the drop of Ross Sea Kaipipi Shipyard, Stewart Island, New Zealand. Stewart Island was a workshop and storage place for the Ross Sea in a few years (that 1925-32).

Whaling boat “Star I”. Presumably outermost Sandefjordsfjord. Considering the good condition of the hull, it is perhaps a trip on the fjord to test equipment or verify repairs before season.
