Allison was an avid nature photographer and took some great animal- and landscapes on island. This is Southern Rockhopper Penguin. That they got the name is not so strange when you see where they are.

I think these are Macaroni penguins rather than Rockhopper penguins – Macaronis are very numerous on South Georgia (which this looks like) and you don’t really find Rockhoppers there. Great photo either way!
