diary “Sir James Clark Ross” – 27.01.1933

Flanged 6 whale. In the night it blew up a bit again, but it is certain none of it. Last day there was a new record in the cook-out with 1830 fat. It's probably mostly boiled some time here aboard both last year and this year. In addition, it is boiled just 12 whale, so there has not been any "sticks".

diary “Sir James Clark Ross” – 23.01.1933

Flanged 6 whale. "Peder Bogen" departed from here by midday yesterday. It's a lovely weather outside now and calm, but it is beginning to get dark at night, and we have used electric lights more nights. Now it should not be reduced meat, so we reach enough not to take as many whales as before. Today's message 108 630 hold and 990 whale. the growth is 7330 hold and 65 whale. Now begins kjelesjauene on catchers, with "Star 11" as the first one.
