From the Faroe Islands, we have received a series of photos taken by Jógvan Kristjan Henrikssons grandfather early 1900s. They are scanned by Jógvan sister and originals in the possession of their half-brother at Nøtterøy in Norway. They were found in an attic where they had lain perhaps 80 year. They show, among others. whaling with A / S Vegas liquid floating factory “Commander In” (later “Ernesto Torquist”) off Kamchatka and Mexico, as well as scenes from Durban.

Joak is just happy that someone can have joy and interest to them:) They are probably from multiple locations, my grandfather had a long career. If I can get some information about the pictures along the way so I am very happy about it. 🙂
